The Honor Society is an organization that promotes scholarship, leadership, service and character. Students in grades 10-12 who have a cumulative grade point average of 93% or higher may apply for membership. The faculty council, which consists of five teachers, determines who is accepted as members. Activities that members have helped with in the past include Project Graduation, Winterfest, Acalympics, fundraising for Dollars for Scholar, and career and health fairs. Seniors in NHS may apply for national scholarships. Members must maintain the standards of Honor Society or be in danger of dismissal.
